We invite classes to experience Old Sydney Society’s four museums
Visit Cossit House to interact with the 18th century costumed staff and to learn about family life in Sydney in 1785. Experience Jost Heritage House built in 1786 and find out what life was like in this home that boasts a kitchen in the cellar. Next is St. Patrick’s Church Museum that hosts ever changing exhibits inside the stone walls of this 1828 church. Lastly, visit the Sydney Museum located in the old Bank Of Montreal building built in 1901.

Tailored Historic Tours
The Old Sydney Society is available to give personally tailored tours to groups of ten or more wishing to discover the rich stories of Historic Sydney.
Please note, we do not offer historic walking tours on cruise ships days.
Wicked Walk
Join us on a thrilling tour through the streets of Sydney’s Historic North-End.
Our costumed guides will enthrall you with true stories of betrayal, adultery, greed, murder, hanging, and the occasional act of God. Stories of skeletons in the cellar, bodies under the floorboards, a murderous mayor, and a triple hanging—Sydney will never seem the same again.
Our Wicked Walk happens Tuesday evenings in July, August, September, and October. The 90-minute tour departs with a costumed guide from St. Patrick’s Church Museum at 7:pm – we recommend arriving up to 15 minutes early. Admission is $15.00 per person. Tours book up quickly so it’s best to purchase tickets online here – or by calling (902)539-1572. Ages 10 years and up due to the nature of the stories.
